TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index started the week with a rise of 0.36% to close at 96,270. Construction (+2.53%) was the top performing sector of the day, with gains across the board. Fallers were led by Other Financial Services (-1.17%), weighed down by Rayan Saipa Leasing Co. (RSAP -1.93%) and Mellat Leasing Co. (VLMT -0.28%). Base Metals (+0.48%) posted the highest trading volume among sectors of IRR 296 billion (approx. USD 6.9 million). Main movers of the All-Share Index were Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES +1.75%), National Iranian Copper Industries Co. (MSMI +0.48%) and Iranian Investment Petrochemical Group Co. (IPTR +4.29%). Iran Zinc Mines Development Co. (ROOI +4.74%) was the most traded stock with IRR 135 billion (approx. USD 3.1 million) in transactions. Total market volume reached IRR 3,518 billion (approx. USD 82 million), up 13.7% from Wednesday.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization added 0.43% to close at 4,214. Iranian Investment Petrochemical Group Co. (IPTR +4.29%) was the top gainer while Khouzestan Steel Co. (FKHZ -1.12%) was the biggest faller. Total traded value of the top 30s dropped 29.4% to IRR 397 billion (approx. USD 9.2 million). |
