"The Fresh & Onlys shamble barefoot through Summer of Love-style guitar and tambourine jams, strewing lyrical oddities and flower garlands along the path that leads, if not to where Syd Barrett lives, at least to Dan Treacy’s neighborhood" - Dusted

"the Fresh & Onlys traffic in jangly garage-pop, balancing psych-rock swagger with generous dollops of sweetly cockeyed melody. Their recordings are lovingly caked with crud, and their jams sometimes veer perilously close to derailing completely" - Pitchfork
“…just perfect”  - TimeOut

San Francisco's finest, The Fresh & Onlys release their first UK single - two blasts of wild pop music - 'IMPENDING DOOM / TROUBLING VISION' on limited edition 7" vinyl on 19th July via AGITATED.

It’s BIG BEAT, but not as we know it… With pointers ranging from Violent Femmes, 13th Floor Elevators to early 80s British indie-pop and a nod towards the Australian underground scene of the same decade, both tracks  (exclusive to this release) highlight the bands abilities in creating pop music that’s skewed yet perfect.

Having recently supported Deerhunter in the UK as well as  performing at the recent Mat Groening  curated ATP festival, the Fresh & Onlys have, in their short history, already released a couple of albums (on Castleface and Woodsist) as well as a Captured Tracks EP and a heap of singles on various labels all over the world.

The band will have a brand new album out via In The Red later this year and tour the UK in September.

:::MOON DUO:::
“blurry space rock with echoes of Suicide and Spacemen 3 in their jammy cosmic slop” – Uncut
“Intoxicating & utterly wonderful” – Old Age Hipster

We are very pleased to announce that Moon Duo will be serving up their sonic stew to audiences throughout the UK & Ireland in July. Celebrating the release of their debut LP, Escape, released this month on cult US indie label Woodsist, San Francisco’s Moon Duo is the combined forces of Sanae Yamada and Wooden Shjips’ Erik Johnson.

Having released two acclaimed records in 2009: Love on the Sea (12-inch, Sick Thirst) and Killing Time EP (Sacred Bones), Escape marks the fullest realization yet of the young group’s evolving sound.

NEW SINGLE ‘Weird Feelings”
“An invigorating debut” Time Out
“A Sparky debut “ Q Magazine
“[this] deserves to be blasted long and loud” NME
“Male Bonding brilliantly transpose their neighbourhood’s scruffy, rule-breaking fashion ethos into an exhilarating melodic breed of post hardcore punk rock.” Mojo
“’Nothing Hurts’ is the best of both worlds” Loud & Quiet
“… the sheer zest Male Bonding bring to bear can make even the most jaded palates tingle” The Guardian
Having, in the past couple of months, released their debut album, Nothing Hurts’, gigged constantly around the UK, toured the US with Vivian Girls, Dum Dum Girls, Smith Westerns and The Soft Pack, Male Bonding can now confirm UK shows with NO AGE this Autumn alongside dates with Blood Red Shoes as well as European shows with Crystal Castles and a US tour with BEST COAST (phew!). The band will be releasing a new single, ‘Weird Feeling’ via Sub Pop on 2nd August 2010.
Male Bonding - Robin Silas Christian—drums, Kevin Hendrick—bass/vocals and John Arthur Webb—guitar/vocals – play, unintentionally (too much coffee!) fast. Released in May via SUB POP, Nothing Hurts, is the band’s first full-length and gets it done in half an hour with most songs clocking in at around two minutes. It’s infectious.

The formula: “Tinnitus. And a hook.” And a speedometer pinned deep in the red….
