The Tehran Stock All-Share Index
closed down 0.29% at 78,247. The majority of sectors lost ground with
Metallic Products (-3.77%) and Automotive (-3.64%) falling the most. Paper
Products (+3.77%) was the best performer of the day. The highest daily trade volume
among sectors was recorded by Automotive (-3.64%), with IRR 384 billion
(approx. USD 10.2 million) of trades. SAIPA Group (SIPA -4.39%), Iran Khodro
(IKCO -4.60%) and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co. (PKLJ +0.88%)
had the biggest impact on the All-Share Index. SAIPA Group (SIPA -4.39%)
recorded the highest daily trade volume, with IRR 121 billion (approx. USD
3.2 million). The market’s total traded value dropped by 27% to IRR 2,265
billion (approx. USD 60 million).
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest
companies by market capitalization lost 0.40% to close at 3,067. Esfahan Oil
Refining Co. (PNES +2.13) was the biggest gainer on the index, while Iran
Khodro (IKCO -4.60%) lost the most. The total traded value of the top 30
stocks reached IRR 428 billion (approx. USD 11.4 million), down 42.5% from
the previous trading session.
