Ad Sales for ACI Program Shell

Aim for Friday, October 20!

Many people in ICC&CS have signed up to sell ads: thank you!  But if we are to match last year’s sales (and we can), you need to get those ads, checks, and agreements submitted. The deadline for everything – ads, checks, and agreements – is Friday, October 20.

Success in this ad sales drive depends on (1) your contacting the business you signed up for and selling the ad, and (2) following through to ensure that the check, agreement, and ad are sent in to ACI by Friday, October 20.

If you have questions, if you have forms or checks to turn in, or if you want to bring us up to date on your progress, you can reach me at kkg1@cornell.edu.

Thank you for your work on these sales! Thanks to your work we will have a beautiful program shell showing the support of Ithaca businesses for the arts.

About Our Website

The ACI website has lots of useful information for ICC&CS members.  Go to ACIthaca.org and you will land on the home page of the website.  The home page has calendar listings for the rehearsals and performances of all the ACI choruses, some general information about the ACI organization and a link to the ACI Annual Report.  From the home page, you are able to navigate to specific choruses, a master calendar and our donation page.

Our chorus pages are accessed via the “learn more” link on the right side of the home page under “Ithaca Community Chorus and Chamber Singers”.  Following that link will take you to the ICC&CS main page which features specific information about our chorus, links to the Fall 2017 Fact sheet and a link to Useful Information.

On the left-hand side of the page are found links to pages that are both informative and helpful.  The “Music for the Fall 2017 Semester” page has links to YouTube videos of each of the music selections that are being performed by the Chorus and the Chamber Singers and we also list any tutorial resources that are available.   The “Performances” page contains information about our upcoming concert, and will have information added as we get closer to the concert.  The “Rehearsals” page, updated weekly, contains the rehearsal schedule for the current semester.  And, also updated weekly, is the “ICC&CS Weekly Newsletters” page which lists links to each of the semester’s newsletters, enabling you to find a missing newsletter or go back to an earlier one.

The “Join the ICC&CS!” page is where we provide on-line registration for new and returning members.  It is active for about 6 weeks before the start of each semester.  Of greatest benefit to chorus members is the ability to pay in advance and make sure that you will have music on the first night of rehearsal.

Last but certainly not least, is the “Director” page where you can learn more about our Director, Gerald Wolfe.  We hope to add some information about our accompanist, Bill Cowdry, in the near future.

The rest of the website links take you to information about each the ACI Choral Groups.  We also feature special event notices on the home page from time to time, so check the website often.

Finally, we will be unveiling a new website soon.  Work has been underway for several months and we will make sure you know when the new look is active.

Send any questions or suggestions to musicinfo@ithacacommunitychoruses.org.
