What factors currently drive government policy on the Community and Voluntary Sector?
What changes in direction are possible or likely in the years ahead?
Robert Watt, Secretary General of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, will address these and other vital topics in his Keynote Address to the 2014 Annual Conference of Clann Credo - the Social Investment Fund.
The venue is the Ashling hotel, Dublin on Thurs. Oct. 16th next - two days after the announcement of Budget 2015. It runs from 9am to 1pm, followed by light lunch.
Robert Watt will provide a first-hand analysis and explanation of factors currently influencing official decision making in government  - and likely directions for future policy and funding for the sector.
The session will be Chaired by Prof Brian MacCraith, President of Dublin City University.
Other speakers include Brother Kevin Crowley, Founder, Capuchin Day Centre and Avila Kilmurray, until recently the Director of the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland.
