10/4/22

We are doing something a little different this year. We are having meetings with each class every month or so. Today we met with the Freshmen class. We covered the following heavy topics:
Passing classes
Hallway behavior
Vapes and drug use
Attendance rules

We then moved onto more fun subjects. We talked about finding a club, activity or sport to be involved with. We know that if we get students involved, they will be better students and happier. We talked about being in the student section at events and how important it is to be part of something that is bigger than yourself. Homecoming then came up and what that looks like. We stressed the idea of borrowing dresses and wearing "reasonable shoes" like Chucks. The girls typically kick their shoes into a corner so spending money on shoes is a waste. We also told the students that if they needed clothes or a ticket to come see me, Mr. Lienau or Mr. Mull. We want the kids to come and money shouldn't be an issue.

Be Well,
