La conversione di un’auto convenzionale in un veicolo ecologico è una delle opzioni più sostenibili nel breve periodo, in termini di consumi energetici e di emissioni di CO2, oltre che una delle più economiche per l’utente The conversion of a conventional car into an environmentally friendly vehicle is one of the most sustainable options in the short term, in terms of energy consumption and CO2 emissions, as well as one of the most convenient for the user Questo è quanto emerge da uno studio presentato da alcuni ricercatori dell’Università di Salerno (Francesco Tiano, Gianfranco Rizzo, Silvio Landolfi, Giovanni De Feo) ad ECOSM 2018 (5th IFAC Conference on Engine and
This is what emerges from a study presented by some researchers of the University of Salerno (Francesco Tiano, Gianfranco Rizzo, Silvio Landolfi, Giovanni De Feo) at ECOSM 2018 (5th IFAC Conference on Engine and Powertrain Control, Simulation and Modeling).
In the study presented at Changchun, different options of sustainable transport are compared by means of the LCA technique: buying a new electric or hybrid car, or converting the car fueled by petrol or diesel into a hybrid solar vehicle with HySolarKit. This proposal is in development by eProInn, Mecaprom, Solbian and Landi within the project LIFE-SAVE.

Enel X, the company that also takes care of the electric mobility services, plans to spend up to 300 million euros to install in our country thousands of new columns for charging electric cars, today insufficient in number and type: the refills are very slow and this discourages those who want to buy a car with zero emissions, which needs long stops several hours before getting back on the road.
Enel X, however, has reiterated in recent days to create 14,000 columns within the next five years (today there are about 1,000), many of a fast and ultra-fast type, within a plan that together with those implemented by other operators should create a network of columns able to supply supplies in the city, on extra-urban roads and even on the motorway.
The project LIFE-SAVE ("Solar Aided Vehicle Electrification", LIFE16 ENV/IT/000442) is financed with the contribution of the LIFE Programme of the European Union
