Just a couple of items this week:
The Town Council Meeting scheduled for July 6, 2006 has been cancelled due to a lack of agenda items. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be Thursday, July 20th at 7:00 PM

Secondly, thanks to all those who made this years Huntsville Independence Day Celebration one of the best ever. Thanks to all the volunteers, businesses and groups who put in so much time and effort to make it an overwhelming success. Special thanks to Councilman Chris Stevenson who has worked tirelessly and unselfishly for several months orchestrating this big event.
Everything was flawless until the rain hit late in the afternoon, so we are planning to have a repeat of the evening events on Pioneer Day, July 24th starting at 8:00 PM. We will have Pizza, Hot Dogs and Hamburgers along with entertainment starting at 8:00 PM followed by our HUGE Fireworks Show at 10:00 PM. We hope to see you there.
