Psalm 22:29 All the rich of the earth will feast and worship; all who go down to the dust will kneel before him--those who cannot keep themselves alive.

ALL ARE SUBJECT TO HIM

"Therefore God has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:9-11).

Enough said. All who live and breathe are subject to Jesus for He has redeemed all and as God He has given life to every soul on the face of the earth. The high and mighty, the rich and the famous, as well as the poor and needy all are subject to Him.

It is certain that there are those who do not believe, who have rejected the complete sacrifice of Jesus for the sins of the world, and while they are on earth do not bow before Him. They will, but then it will be too late.

When Jesus comes again in the clouds of glory to judge, all flesh shall see Him as the Lord of all, as the Savior of all, as the only One through whom eternal life is given. While those who do not believe will receive eternal death yet they will on that glorious day bow before Him and will confess that He is Lord of all--for He will then be revealed in the fullness of His glory.

Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good and His mercy endures forever! Thank the Lord that by His grace He has given to you and me that faith which has opened our eyes to see Jesus as our Lord and Savior; that we bow before Him and worship Him, trusting in Him to deliver us from the day of judgment and making that day for us a day of great joy.

God grant that we now, while it is day, trim our lamps, prepare ourselves for that day, guarding and strengthening our faith through daily meditation on the Word of life. Sitting down at the table and eating the meal He has prepared for us. Subjecting our wills to His. Giving to Him the praise and glory due His most holy Name. Rejoicing in His work and trusting only in His righteousness. Oh preserve us all to the end of our days, Almighty King and glorious Lord!
