SAVE SYDNEY HARBOUR LAUNCHES

Save Sydney Harbour will be officially launched on Saturday 11th march 2006.

A public rally will be held at Observatory Hill starting at 11am.

“This is a call to arms for the people of Sydney”, said City of Sydney Councillor, Marcelle Hoff.

“90 hectares of Sydney Harbour land is at stake; either we save it or the government flogs it to the highest bidder.

Make sure your voice is heard on this important day of action.

SEE SYDNEY’S WORKING HARBOUR BEFORE IT IS LOST FOREVER

A free tour of Sydney’s Working Harbour will be held following the launch rally for Save Sydney Harbour.

150 places are available on a first come, first served basis by registering at cruise@workingharbour.com.au.

There is a limit of two tickets per email and please include your Names, Address and contact number. To cover costs we will be collecting a $5.00 donation per person.

During the cruise you will visit all Sydney’s key working harbour facilities and hear expert commentary on the scope and importance of our working port.

We will also be touring some of the key harbourside sites which have been lost forever due to over development.
