We are thrilled to welcome Richard Freese as our new Composers Competition chair! Richard has been active in the MACRO organization for many years. He started out as a student participant while studying with Warren Gooch, and went on to share his experience and talent as a workshop presenter and also as a judge for the Composers Competition. We would also like to thank Warren Gooch, the previous chair and creator of this competition, for his wonderful service all these many years!

It's not too early to start thinking about topics and potential presentations for the event!
