Despite missing our international friends this summer we are delighted that so many of our fellow Brits have taken the opportunity to explore these shores and get re-acquainted with the beauty and culture that makes up The British Isles, as we are all often guilty of overlooking what is on our doorstep.

  HADRIAN'S WALL WALK 
Always our best-selling trip and even more so this year, the combination of stunning walking, spine tingling history and sumptuous hotels to relax in each night makes this a winner.   Have a look at some of our other tours in a similar vein - The Cotswold Way, West Highland Way and The Dales Way.
 
 
  KENT CYCLING AND WALKING
A bit of an under appreciated gem we feel, but Kent has climbed the charts this year with its easy access from London and mix of countryside, coast and cuisine.   While some resorts may be a bit busy until September, Coasts and Castles (walking), Garden of England and Kent Castles (cycling) still hold possibilities.
 
 
  THE LAKE DISTRICT
This glorious area has been busy, but with a great choice of classic and luxury hotels and a little Carter Company know how, we think we can still find some of those special places for a complete get away whether you like gentle or challenging walking on our Quintessential Lake District or the fantastic cycling on Electric Lakes.
 
 
  THE THAMES AND THE COTSWOLDS
