NEWS FOR CAT LOVERS
===================================

Cat Lady Beats the IRS, but now faces felony charges
for cruelty. Initially, she faced charges of illegally
claiming her cats as dependents on her tax forms, but
since most of them were rescues, and not pets, the U.S.
Tax Court allowed it as a deduction because she does
not receive donations.

However, she is now being charged with cruelty for
not taking good care of those cats. Reportedly, many
were found in emaciated condition and sick, and quite
a few had to be euthanized.

---------------------------

And now for a heartwarming story. We've heard about
a few lost or escaped cats this past year, and some
of their returns are astonishing. Losing Jack the cat
was sad, but George had a similar experience in Canada,
and was one of the lucky ones to go back home.

CAT FOOD NEWS
===================================

You may recall the petfood report I did in September,
outlining the results of my "experiment" to switch all
the cats over to a premium petfood, called Taste of the
Wild. The initial report was really an interim report
on how the transition was going.

Now I have another report for you, showing the results
after feeding them the new food for 6+ months. I suppose
some of the cats will always be in "transition mode,"
but we have finalized the system pretty much and are
doing fine!

If you are a new subscriber and didn't see the first
report, I've put the links to both part one and part two
here:

http://www.theproblemcat.com/ebooks/PremiumPetfoodReport-2.pdf

It's up to you, but if you RIGHT click the link, it will
start downloading. If you Left click, it will simply open
up on your computer and you can read it now. However, if you
do that, don't forget to SAVE it, or it will go away.
If you do that accidentally, don't worry. You can easily
come back here and click on the link again and save it.

Help Feed Shelter Animals

Don't forget to visit these sites as often as you can and
click on the shelter-feed links. There is no cost to you
to do this, but it can only be done once per day.

Check out the video on my website, at the top of
the page. It's an old TV commercial and is an ad
for a company, but the video is priceless!

TAKE ACTION TO HELP ANIMALS IN NEED
===================================
How to help animals:

1. http://www.hipaws.com/help.html
Help feed the ones that never got adopted.

2. Always remember to check with your local shelter
to see what they need. Your donation will go directly
to the animals, in sharp contrast to some of the large
national groups, whose donation income goes toward
large administrative salaries and other expenses, not
necessarily for animals.
