TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day down 0.53% at 165,352. Foods Excluding Sugar (+2.23%)saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Textile (-3.00%). Base Metals (-1.13%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 413 billion (approx. USD 9 million). Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD -1.73%) Persian Gulf Petrochemical Ind. (PKLJ -0.91%) and National Iranian Copper Ind. Co. (MSMI -0.86%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Tejarat Bank (BTJR +1.24%) was the most traded stock with IRR 222 billion (approx. USD 5 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 3,238 billion (approx. USD 77 million), down 4% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 8,139 for a loss of -0.83%. The biggest riser was Persian Gulf Petrochemical Ind. Co. (PKLJ +0.91%) while Fanavaran Petrochemical Co. (PFAN -3.07%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 1,085 billion (approx. USD 25 million), up 10% from the previous trading session. |
