We had a smooth first day.

Class meetings will begin tomorrow and continue throughout the week. This is the "talk" that the Freshmen boys and girls get every year about being a high school student. We split the boys up from the girls. Mrs. Wenk takes the girls and I take the boys. We talk about difficult subjects like dating, bullying, harassment, sexual offenses, etc. The kids are free to ask me any questions they want. They usually have some good ones.

Because of the student's adjusting sleep schedules, tomorrow, the kids will be a little sleepier. Wednesday, the kids will be extremely tired. Thursday, they will be Zombies. Please encourage them to keep their sleep schedules on the school schedule over the long weekend (I know that is difficult to do but at least on Tuesday, you can say, "I told you so!).
