The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share
Index closed marginally higher on the last day of the trading week at 80,344,
gaining 0.27% from yesterday. Machinery & Equipment (+2.03%) was the
biggest riser among sectors, mostly boosted by Iran Tractor Manufacturing
Co. (TRIR +3.95%) and Butane Industrial Group (BOTA +4.81%). The weakest sector
of the day was Sugar (-2.13%) with steep declines across the board. The
highest trading volume was posted by Automotive (+0.37%) sector with IRR 417
billion (approx. USD 11 million) of shares exchanged. Stocks making the
biggest impact on the All-Share Index were led by Bandar Abbas Oil Refining
Co. (PNBA +3.31%), Persian Gulf Petrochemical Ind. Co. (PKLJ +1.07%) and
Informatics Services Corp. (INFO +1.44%). The highest trade volume was posted
by SAIPA Group (SIPA +1.65%), with IRR 247 billion (approx. USD 6.5 million).
The market’s total traded value gained 40% from yesterday to reach IRR 1,825
billion (approx. USD 49 million).
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty largest
companies by market capitalization closed up 0.15% at 3,130. Bandar Abbas Oil
Refining Co. (PNBA +3.31%) led gainers while Parsian Oil & Gas
Development Co. (PASN -1.11%) saw the largest decline. The total traded value
of the top 30s reached IRR 599 billion (approx. USD 16 million), up 133% from
yesterday.
