Date: October 21, 2015

Time:   11:00am (Mexico Time)

Duration: 35 minutes and 15 minutes for Q&A

Benefits of Attending:

Attendees will obtain solid understanding and practical knowledge of the basic formal requirements and examination criteria applied by IMPI during trademark application procedures, as well as of the post-registration maintenance guidelines.

Holders of International Registrations seeking extension of protection to Mexico are likely to face several challenges for obtaining the registration in Mexico due to the overly-strict criteria adopted by the IMPI during formal and substantive examination of trademark applications. Thus, this webinar is designed to provide useful information and tips that might help IR owners prepare applications complying with local practices and requirements thereby enabling them to avoid, as much as possible, provisional refusals. In addition, the webinar will offer strategies concerning special maintenance requirements that must be filed directly with the MTO (namely: licenses, declarations of use).
