Check out the documentary on the New York City Green Book exploring a few hidden gems of African culture. Tropicalfete is proud to be part of the series representing the Caribbean cultural influence in New York City The legacy of A New Green Book continues as Jacques Slade curates his New York City Green Book. Along the way he’ll traverse the five borough’s iconic Black owned restaurants, museums, and cultural centers. The original green book was a book that serve as a guide to let African Americans know the safe places they can go when they are traveling. It was equivalent to what some may know as the yellow pages. Watch and Enjoy
