AFTERNOON - This Saturday afternoon (Sept. 16), The Mighty Manatees return to the Pinnacle Ridge Winery outside Kutztown, PA, where we will be performing in yet another wonderfully rustic Pennsylvanian barn. MY BIRTHDAY PARTY - The good folks at Mystic Vagabond Productions are throwing a birthday party for me on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the Rising Sun Barn in beautiful Telford, PA. I have invited many of my musical friends and family to come out and sing and play with me. Guests include: Big Daddy, Ray Adkins, Tom Brunner, Ted The Fiddler, Dance Wareham, Joe Rizzo, Andy Vernon, Jim Hines, Bob Tomlinson, Ras Mykyl, Mike Greer, Smilin' Ed, my daughter Fiona, and more. It will be an evening of my own songs and some of my favorite songs by others. The band is Randy Wagner, Jim Cavanaugh, Karl Frick, and Tim Hooper. Showtime is: 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM. MANATEES FUN FACT: Did you know that Tim Hooper's birthday is Sept. 13, and Randy Wagner's birthday is Sept. 14? It's true! There are 3 Virgos in The Mighty Manatees! That's why we're so tidy. Mana-tidy.
20TH ANNUAL ASHER'S CHOCOLATES FALL FEST! - At 11:00 AM, Saturday morning, Sept. 30, we will perform at Asher's Chocolates in Franconia, PA, for their annual Fall Fest. This is an admission-free, outdoor, all-ages event. There will be free hot dogs and drinks, clowns, face painting, moon bounce, magic, a real calliope, a ballon-ologist, raffles galore, and a whole lot more. Showtime is 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Special guests: Ted The Fiddler and Fiona Hodgson. This will be one of our last outdoor shows of the year...
