Norwich This Sunday
This Sunday at the Norwich Bead Fair in the George Best Western Hotel, Arlington Lane, Norwich NR2 2DA. A bust popular show with ready-made designed jewellery by The Bead Queen – great for Christmas presents!
London Luton Bead Fair
The following Saturday, we’re at the London Luton Bead Fair, Stockwood Hotel, Luton LU1 3SS. Another busy show with my visitors nipping the 1/2-hour up the M1 from North London. The venue is only 5-minutes down the hill from M1 J11.
Swindon Bead Fair
Then Sunday 19th October we’re at the Swindon Bead Fair, Purton Village Hall, SN5 4AJ – close to M4 J16. A new hall for us, just outside Swindon. The latest semi precious beads & pearls by MrBead, seed beads, kits and findings by Southampton Bead Shop, and other traders.
All three shows are Free Entry & Refreshments!
Our Latest New Beads
Some beaders’ say they have shed loads of beads already – but we find new sells. We can mix our show display, and visitors will always pull out the latest. It’s as if an invisible wave say ‘buy me’! So if new sells for us: it’ll sell for you too. You need new. Consumers are always looking for something different. They like the latest products to show how up-to-date they are, and aware of fashion trend and change. New Sells!

Royal Mail Increase This Week
Royal Mail introduced significant price increases for parcels from October 2025. Our beads are heavy – they’re not seed beads. Royal Mail call most of our shipments ‘parcel’ which cost a minimum of £5.05 + extra for tracking. We will continue to subsidise postage, but must increase our basic rate UK shipping from £3.50 to £3.99. However, we will offer free shipping on all UK orders over £45. International orders will only increase slightly.

Autumn Beads
When the nights darken, make some classy seasonal jewellery. Halloween is huge these days, then there’s Christmas presents to make. There’s so many beads suitable for this season: agate, calsilica, citrine, coral, flaked stones, jade, jasper, lava, lapis, malachite, rhodonite, and tiger eye. You can also combine amber and pearl with all types of brown, dark greens, gold, and misty yellow.
Orange and gold beads match autumn leaves – try combining carnelian with black beads like onyx. Enhance your imagination with a touch of gold. Mix contrasting colours like brown and gold with blues and green.
For Halloween, skull jewellery are popular with the young, who wear skull rings on their fingers and hang skull pendants on their phones.

This was much better than we expected. These days, we’re not keen on doing other people’s shows, but this one was brilliant for us. Easy, fast & good takings. Many customers from North London too.
Cambridge Bead Fair
Cambridge is always busy, but this was one of our best ever! Very busy from start until about 3pm, with many visitors from over 1 1/2-hours away. And all good spenders. We’ll be back in Cambridge three times in 2026, first in the spring.

Bead shows are great fun. You’ll love them! Bring a trolley, as beads get heavy. Take some cash, as a few venues have a weak signal for card payments. Talk to the vendors and other visitors to inspire new design ideas. Make a note of what you paid for beads, and keep exhibitors’ business cards and leaflets.
