We hope that you had a wonderful holiday break! We are excited to kick off 2023 here at Daisy Brook!
Winter MAP testing begins on January 4th. Please reach out to your child's teacher to check on specific testing times for your child. We are eager to celebrate the growth that our students have made this year.
Many of our classrooms have received new furniture through a generous gift of funds from an anonymous donor. Some of our classrooms have been outfitted with desks that push into collaborative groups while others have received new tables for students to work at with one another. Additionally, flexible seating has been added to classrooms in a variety of stools, chairs, and other inviting seating. We are so grateful for the generosity of this donor!
The Winter Reading Challenge at Fremont Area District Library has begun! Sign up anytime after January 1st - Runs through March 3rd. Children can sign up in the Children’s Department and teens and adults can sign up at the reference desk. Each age group will get a reading log with a challenge to complete, and when finished, you can bring it in for a fun winter prize until March 3rd. Teens will also be entered into raffle drawings for each book read. The Winter Reading Program is generously sponsored by Koffee Kuppe and Friends of the Fremont Area District Library.
