Our juniors are spending the morning doing what we call "Pre ID ing" for the SAT. That means they are bubbling in their name and address and all their details so that on Wednesday after Spring Break, they can begin testing. They talked me into buying them donuts for tomorrow if they are focused and don't complain about the tedious nature of this event. I caved and agreed. Right now, you can hear a pin drop in the group of 180 teenagers. The power of a donut!

Next Thursday is our annual "Drive Your Tractor To School Day." The first half of the day is normal but then we start with the festivities at lunch. Mr. Lienau and I are cooking free burgers provided by Slater Farms. It is a very fun day and the vast majority of kids love it. We do have some students who "opt out" of the afternoon by having their parents excuse them. Please encourage your student to take part in the afternoon fun. It's the one day when FFA gets a chance to run the school. It's one of the special things about FHS I think we are still the only school that does this. I can't wait for Tractor Day!
