2/23/23

We held our first passing time lockdown drill today. Things went well, and the halls were cleared rapidly. After the drill, I reminded the students to report anything that sounds or feels "off." That simple act has prevented many, many tragedies. Please speak with your student about the importance of speaking up.

Next Tuesday, many of our Juniors and most of our Seniors will have the opportunity to listen to a presentation by Consumer's Power. We ask them to come in yearly to discuss the thousands of opportunities that exist in their company for careers for students right after high school or after college. We were able to place a number of students with them last year after graduation. They pay very well and almost never have downturns in their business. We will do that in our social studies, industrial tech, and agriscience classes.

Be Well,
Scott Sherman
