I have included details about the following WCPF competitions in past editions of the Newsletter, but this is just to remind you that if you would like either Danny or me to take your entry to WCPF DPIC at Exeter this weekend, then you should bring your prints and all completed paperwork to club on Wednesday evening (6 Feb). The details previously published are reproduced below.
Both of these competitions have been mentioned in the Newsletter before, but we have received this email from Eddy Lane, President of the WCPF:
"We want to assist Bristol PS and its Members in participating in two important upcoming events.
Knightshayes Trophy 2013
Entries are invited from Members of WCPF clubs for this annual competition for the superb Knightshayes Trophy, which is held by the winner for a year. The subject for 2013 is “Wrecked“. Each entrant may submit a maximum of TWO PRINTS which should have been taken within the last two years.
THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE - Entry form can be downloaded from WCPF Website
Entries to be handed in at DPIC Sunday 10th February at Corn exchange Exeter, but if nobody from your Club is attending DPIC you can get them to us by 9th February. Selection will be made at the Council Meeting 9th March at Clyst St Mary Village Hall
Members Exhibition 2013
Members can now enter Prints and Digital Images online through the WCPF website to this major exhibition. However Prints still need to be made available for selection and, to simplify this process we will visit Bristol PS on Wednesday 13th March to collect any of your Members prints that are available. If you prefer Prints can also be handed in at DPIC Sunday 10th February at Corn Exchange Exeter, or the Council Meeting 9th March at Clyst St Mary Village Hall
