Public Allies Pittsburgh is the program for you.

Public Allies Pittsburgh is a fulltime 10-month apprenticeship program that will give you the opportunity to lead, learn and serve within your community.

Public Allies Pittsburgh is currently seeking dynamic, passionate, and diverse young people to join the 2011- 2012 class of Public Allies. Applicants must be at least 17 years of age, have at least a high school diploma or GED, be a US Citizen or Legal Resident, and have a passion for community service. Allies receive $14,000 through the course of 10-months, health insurance, childcare, a $5,350 post-service education award and other benefits. Public Allies advances new leadership to strengthen communities, nonprofits and civic participation.

NON PROFITS AND GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS SEEKING TO INCREASE CAPACITY WHILE SHAPING THE FACE OF DIVERSE NEW LEADERS

BENEFITS:
CREATE, IMPROVE AND EXPAND YOUR SERVICES, CULTIVATE DIVERSE YOUNG TALENT, GENERATE NEW VOLUNTEERS, COLLARATE WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS

ALLIES ARE:
YOUNG ADULTS AGES 17-30, RECIPIENTS OF HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED US CITIZENS OR LEGAL PERMANENT RESIDENTS

BENEFITS:
EARN $1400 A MONTH, RECEIVE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT TRAINING, MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE IN THE PITTSBURGH COMMUNITY, STUDENT LOAN DEFFERMENT AND $5350 FOR SCHOOL


Program Benefits
