The K-9 teams were in today. They searched the entire inside of the building and did not find anything. That is always good. They did have a number of "odor" alerts that result from being around marijuana. With marijuana being legal for adults, we will see more and more of that.

If your house is anything like mine, the "newness" of the school year has worn off in the mornings. Kids are reluctant to get up and the 9:00 p.m. "Oh Mom, I forgot, I need this (whatever it might be) by tomorrow for school" issues have started. That means that we are entering cold season. Head colds are starting to blossom and will peak in the next two to three weeks. Cold and clammy weather doesn't help the transition. Bringing 750 people into a building who haven't been exposed to each other in three months is a recipe for lots of colds! The best way to prevent colds is to get lots of rest, exercise and wash our hands.
