Dear Families,

It is hard to believe that we are a quarter of the way through the 2022-2023 school year. With the holidays right around the corner, the next marking period is certain to fly by as well!

We have made some improvements to our facilities in the last few weeks. Our students now have a safe, less steep path to walk from morning drop off or to the buses after school. Additionally, lighting has been updated with brighter bulbs and we plan to add more lights to the path as well as the parking lot. We are grateful for these improvements with student and staff safety in mind.

As the temperatures continue to drop, please send your children to school with adequate clothing to keep them warm on the playground. Once snow starts to cover the playground, boots and snow pants (as well as coats!) will be required if students want to play in the snow.

Our "Treats for Troops" campaign will continue through November 4th. Candy that is donated must be individually wrapped. The class that brings in the most candy (total weight) will receive a pizza party form Little Caesars!

ATTENTION PARENTS OF CHILDREN THAT WALK TO PATHFINDER FOR PICKUP: Pathfinder staff have asked us to request that if you are picking your Daisy Brook child up at Pathfinder, that you park outside of the gate or in the front circle parking lot while you're waiting for your child to arrive from Daisy Brook. They are experiencing some traffic issues with parents waiting in line for Daisy Brook students to walk over. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Daisy Brook Sewing Club will be offered again this year! Mrs. Matthews will be enrolling 4th and 5th graders for the four week classes which begin November 17th. 3rd grade classes will start after Christmas Break. If you are interested in having your child participate, please complete a registration form (they are available in the office). Classes will be limited to 10 participants in each 4th and 5th grade session.
