Pathfinder students were treated to the Calder Quintet from the Grand Rapids Symphony today. Students learned all about the stringed instruments of the orchestra and the various sounds they make. The musicians were so impressed by the behavior of our students; they said that Pathfinder students were one of the best school audiences they have played for. In addition, Mrs. Voyt's class were treated to another violin concert by Sophie, a student in their class, who has taken lessons for three years. Another celebration today was having lunch with Opal Huff with her friend Amity. Opal has earned 60 Accelerated Reader points so far this year. That is around 120 picture books that she has read and taken a test on. Nice work, Opal! Please see our Facebook page for pictures of all our special events of today. Enjoy your weekend!
