Would July To Me?

Oh my gosh, it's July and I am nearly 48 years old. I wish I was 40 again. Why was I so worried about turning 40? Still two years til I am 50, that's ages away. It will be fine. Here's some stuff that's going on in the coming months.

Happy Now?
My new show Happy Now? is very slowly coming together. I will be previewing it through July and August and the first proper performance will be on September 12th as part of the 12 Shows of Herring at the Leicester Square Theatre (see below).
And most of the tour dates are also sorted out. You can see all the confirmed ones here. We are definitely adding one in Bristol and I suspect I will also be playing Cheddar and Sutton Coldfield as well. But it's a shorter tour than usual, so apologies if I don't make it near to you. But keep an eye on that site for additional dates. I am going to try and attach the prototype leaflet for the show to this newsletter too. Sorry it that doesn't work.

Happy Now Charity Tour Programme
There's only a few days to get your name in the free tour programme, with donations going to SCOPE. If you want to get your name in the programme then donate £15 or more (the more you donate the bigger your name will appear) on my justgiving page. Then email me your address to herring1967@gmail.com and when they're ready you will be sent your own signed, limited edition programme in the post.
If you want to advertise your business or website or whatever in the programme there are reasonable rates for quarter, half and full page ads. Email me to discuss. All the money raised will go to Scope.

RHLSTP
The new series is rocking along very nicely. Already released are podcasts with Bob Mortimer, Lou Sanders, Emma Kennedy with Romesh Ranganathan coming out this week. And we've got Robert Webb, Louis Theroux, Roisin Conaty, Johnny Vegas, Mark Watson and Robin Ince in the can and they are all really strong episodes.  You can see them on youtube, vimeo and iTunes on video for free (as well as audio on iTunes and the British Comedy Guide)
We've got some amazing guests lined up with more to come (and some very exciting names in the frame). Some of these are sold out, but the Leicester Square Theatre has a reserve list, so get in touch with them. Book your tickets here.
There are some stupidly strong line-ups with some recently added names. And the three gaps should be equally exciting.
6th July  Jessica Hynes and Rob Delaney & Sharon Horgan
13th July Bridget Christie and TBA
20th June TBA and TBA
27th June Limmy and Joe Lycett (SOLD OUT)

Remember monthly subscribers will be the first to find out the big name guests via their own secret newsletter. Keep your eye on my Twitter feed and the LST website for details.

And we got a few episode sponsors via the kickstarter, but if you'd be interested in promoting your website or small business to up to 150,000 listeners and/or over 30,000 viewers (and don't mind me slightly taking the p*ss) then get in touch via herring1967@gmail.com and we can discuss rates.

I will be previewing some of this stuff throughout July - keep your eye on my gig guide.

Funding
Other attempts to make money to create brand new internet content and hopefully a new monthly series of AIOTM in 2016 include:
My ebay page - weekly additions of old scripts, Lee and Herring memorabilia and poorly drawn T-shirts and signed snooker balls. All the money goes to future internet projects. Not put anything up for a little while, but will hopefully add some more when I have time.
Monthly subscriptions - Pay a pound (or more) a month (or make a one-off donation) in return for a badge, entry into a monthly prize draw, access to a secret channel of exclusive extras (like additional backstage interviews at RHLSTP) and a badge.

Everything going well at home. Phoebe is a delight and very smily and happy. I forgot about her the other day and left her in the car for a few minutes, but we were in the middle of a slight panic about something and nothing went wrong. But I still forgot I had a baby for a few minutes. My plans to turn her into a super-comedian are going well. She's pretty funny. Look at her on the Happy Now? poster. Much funnier than us.

My Addams Family Pinball is now 1.6 billion.
See you next month
