***Trump’s May Turn Back The Dial & What NV Must Do Now
We must legislatively shore up the medical cannabis program in Nevada, making it easier for there to be more medical card holders and a vibrant 75,000+ patient base to endure this recent information from the Trump administration, that they may attack recreational cannabis. Also assume the Cole memo may no longer be in our current reality as a comfort, with this new administration.
The following must be included in current NV legislation.
- We need to allow NV doctors that can make recommendations to anyone, including visitors from out of state.
- We need to move away from tracking medical patients to a recommendation letter.
- We need to remove the 2.5oz limit on medical.
- We need to increase the length of NV medical cards or recommendations.
- We need to protect reciprocity with other medical cannabis states.
- We need to reduce the cost of securing a medical cannabis recommendation.
You continue to need patients / advocate organizations that are going to continue to fight for NV medical cannabis rights. Along with your lobbyists and legislators, support local and national cannabis advocate organizations.
