After completion of the sheet metal works the body was dipped in a KTL 'bath' to be protected against corrosion inside and out. The KTL coating protrudes into every seam and cavity of the metal construction. The bodywork was smoothened and is ready to be painted.
The mechanical parts and the chassis were fully restored and overhauled. In the photo report you can admire the rolling chassis in full glory! After the body has received new paint, the chassis and the body can be 'married' again. |
