Please join us for a lively discussion about the latest children's books of the season, as we kick off our School
Days fundraiser this Thursday evening.Sonia Lewis and Anna Bullard (our owner and
children’s book buyer), will present a selection of their favorite titles from
this year’s new releases, as well as a few of their backlist favorites. They
will focus primarily on middle readers (8 - 12 years old), but will also have
suggestions for other age groups. Any books purchased at this event may be applied toward your School
Days total. School Days begins that evening, and continues through Monday, October 8th. |

Free Event This Saturday! Day of Tikkun is a FREE EVENT created to spark a shift in the collective consciousness needed to change the world in this significant year of 2012. Fusing the spiritual, mystical and musical, this sacred event will benefit a host of charitable organizations dedicated to making our world a better place. Speakers and performers include Marianne Williamson, Gary Zukav, shaman and anthropologist Alberto Villoldo, poet Coleman Barks, musicians David Darling and Snatam Kaur, and the Q'ero shamans of Peru.
