Latest programme & December Dartmoor trip

If the events advertised here are not of interest to you, but you know someone who may be interested, please forward this email. Hopefully there is something in 2019 that means we get to see you on the water.

Those people who like to plan their paddling well in advance, have no worries. Attached is the latest club programme, which extends to August 2021. Contact details for all event organisers is at the foot of the document.

Dartmoor Moving Water Weekend 6^th – 8^th December

John Farmer is in the process of arranging a trip to Dartmoor early in December. This trip is for over 18's that wish for a weekend to paddle for themselves as a part of a supportive group in kayak or canoe. The trip is suitable for paddlers who have previously paddled moving water. If levels allow, there is a desire to paddle other Dartmoor rivers, or maybe the upper Dart.

Accommodation & Meals

As usual we will stay at the Pengelly Caving Centre in Buckfastleigh. For the trip to be viable we require a minimum of 12 paddlers. The costs for the accommodation and meals, breakfast and dinner will be £40. People will need to arrange their own meals for on the river.

Transport

We will try to arrange car sharing with people sharing the cost of travel.
