We're excited to share another week of news & ideas with our MAiZE family. There never seems to be a shortage of ideas and the truth is that some of the best originate with all of you! So, if you ever have an idea you'd like us to pass along to the group, please just send it our way. Scholarship Winners Announced...

A huge congratulations to the five recipients of the 9th annual Daniel Huffstutler Scholarship Award. Winners are Chance Getz (UT), Schuyler Roseland (FL), Hugh Schuster (WI), Travis Dierckx (IA), and Daniel Wickham (NY).
This year we had 14 exceptional applicants and the advisory board had a very difficult time selecting the winners, as all were truly deserving. We are grateful that we were able to award 5 scholarships this year instead of our usual 2, due to the generous outpouring by our MAiZE family at the Corn Party auction. We wish all the applicants the very best as they pursue their college educations this year.

As you may know, the scholarship is named in honor of Dan Huffstutler, a former college roommate of Brett's and our first MAiZE owner in Alabama. He passed away tragically at the age of 24 from a brain aneurism in 1999 and we are proud to honor his passion for agriculture through this annual scholarship.

 Well.. August is now almost gone! Many of you have already ordered your first round of wristbands for the season and I've been extremely busy getting these into production for you! But, there are still a bunch of folks who have not yet ordered.
Please let me know if I can be of assistance with your wristband needs (Tyvek - Silicone - Fabric - Plastic - Vinyl) or just for a discussion regarding wristbands - marketing ideas, sales technices, etc. I am always available for conversation and idea-sharing to help make your maze and other attractions more successful this year.
