Haftarah Plethora
In the Haftarah Plethora for Toldot, Rick and Larry discover a connection between the deception by Jacob described in the parsha and the Malachi’s warning to the priests not to use their words deceptively. Larry points out the sarcasm in Malachi’s claim that the nations of the world do a better job than the priests of honoring God’s name while Rick thinks that the priests offer lame excuses for bringing lame offerings.
