Notices for Offshore Residents of Pittwater, Australia

This Week’s Cafe Reminder
Notice for Coffee Lovers of Scotland Island

The Island Cafe is on again this Sunday.  The weather is predicted to be good, with a very small chance of showers, so we will be out there.

We are expecting cakes for this week – there was a slight hitch with the double chocolate babka last week, which led to the appearance of some scones.  This week, hopefully the babka will make it.  We have also been promised a banana and date loaf with butterscotch icing.  Yum!

Unfortunately, the swim was not very popular last week – clearly, there are deeply flawed characters on this island.  So this week, how about you bring your children down for a good run round the park?  You can be sipping your coffee, while they tire themselves out, ready for a good sleep.  There’s often a good sprinkling of young un’s, plenty of playmates.

For those of you without small children, separate tables will be available, with ear plugs.
