This Week’s Cafe Reminder
Notice for
Coffee Lovers of Scotland Island
The
Island Cafe is on again this Sunday. The weather is predicted
to
be good, with a very small chance of showers, so we will be out there.
We
are expecting cakes for this week – there was a slight hitch with the
double chocolate babka last week, which led to the appearance of some
scones. This week, hopefully the babka will make
it. We
have also been promised a banana and date loaf with butterscotch
icing. Yum!
Unfortunately, the swim was not very popular
last week – clearly, there are deeply flawed characters on this
island. So this week, how about you bring your children down
for
a good run round the park? You can be sipping your coffee,
while
they tire themselves out, ready for a good sleep. There’s
often a
good sprinkling of young un’s, plenty of playmates.
For those of you without small children, separate tables will be
available, with ear plugs.
