Portland Story Theater's Halloween Gathering: Spellbound (October 24, 2015)Hi  Friend of PST, This Saturday night, October 24, over at the Alberta Abbey, it's Spellbound! We're welcoming in our favorite holiday, Halloween, and this show promises to be an evening of amazing music and stories -- stories that are real, true and oh so scary! There are still some $15 advance tickets available. Plus we're setting aside some tickets at the door for walk-ups ($18 cash, check, visa). And it's only $5 (in advance or at the door) if you have an Oregon Trail Card because we support Arts for All (Limit 2). 
Click here to buy ticketsDoors open at 7 pm with live jazz music provided by Meoneo from Bonn, Germany with Claudia Huismann (vocals) and Werner Krotz-Vogel (guitar). No-host bar with wine and beer from local makers. Come early to hear some jazz, have your photo taken in the free photo booth. Costumes are encouraged and the best costume wins a prize! Sam A. Mowry of The Willamette Radio Workshop is our host with stories starting at 8 pm by Tim Stapleton, Lynne Duddy, Annie La Ganga, Lawrence Howard and Mary Welch.

Be ready to
participate in a raffle, which features gifts from local businesses: $50 Gift Certificate from John Helmer Haberdasher, Walnut Cutting Board (Valued at $65) from Caravan Pacific, and $100 Gift Certificate, T-shirt and mug from Sugar Wheel Works. $5 Raffle tickets available at the show (cash or credit). Plus, we'll have a special Kitty-Bat game of chance, where one lucky person who buys a Kitty-Bat will win a fresh-water pearl necklace from H&B Jewelry valued at over $225. Chances are going for $8 each, 2 for $15, or 3 for $20.
