Why:
- 150 Irish charities gather for national conference to discuss charities regulation, funding and social need
- Results of a survey of 262 charities will be released at 9am. The survey (conducted in May) measured, among other things, if the economic recovery is having an impact on the demand for charities' services.
- This conference is being organised by The Wheel, a national network of 1,100 charities.
- Largest annual gathering of Irish charities.

11:30am-1pm: Sustaining confidence (regulation, governance & public trust)
9am-11am: The role of charities (how charities are funded, the role of charities in delivering public services).
