Native Plant Conservation Campaign News: NPCC Affiliate New York Botanic Garden to host event to improve Wikipedia coverage of “Plants and People”

The LuEsther T. Mertz Library of the NPCC Affiliate New York Botanical Garden welcomes volunteer Wikipedia editors to participate in this Edit-A-Thon focused on creating and enhancing Wikipedia pages related to the topic of "Plants and People."
The event will take place Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 1-6 PM, EST at the NYBG.
Editors will use the vast historic collections of the Mertz Library in order to create and edit existing pages.
Training will be provided for those who have no prior experience editing Wikipedia.
