THE PROTOTYPE AT ENERGY-MED IN NAPOLI, MARCH 8-10, 2007
The prototype of hybrid solar vehicle will be presented at the exposition Energy-Med, in Naples, March 8-10, 2007. Saturday March 10 the project will be presented within the Workshop on "AIR QUALITY AND VEHICLE EMISSIONS" held by Provincia di Napoli (Sala Libia, 9.30-13.00).

A NEW PROTOTYPE OF HYBRID SOLAR VEHICLE ON TV
A new prototype of Hybrid Solar Vehicle is being developed within the Leonardo Project "Energy Conversion Systems and Their Environmental Impact", financed by the European Community. It will be presented at ODEON TV (Sky Channel 827, in Italy), Saturday, January 13, 2007, 1.30 PM (GMT +1).

A PROJECT FOR THE SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY
The Leonardo Project "Energy Conversion Systems and Their Environmental Impact" aims to promote the knowledge of the students in the field of energy conversion and related environmental problems, with particular emphasis to sustainable transportation, by means of the active participation in a didactic project for the design and manufacturing of an innovative prototype of hybrid solar vehicle. The diffusion of this kind of vehicle could significantly contribute in reducing fossil fuel utilization and carbon dioxide emissions.
The project, promoted by Istituto Alfano I, Salerno (Italy) and coordinated by DIMEC & University of Salerno (Italy), includes a partnership of educational and training institutions, universities, SME's and research centres from Italy, France, Hungary, Romania and Turkey. It is sponsored by Automobile Club Salerno, Lombardini and Saggese.

IL PROTOTIPO ALL'ENERGY-MED DI NAPOLI DALL'8 AL 10 MARZO
Il prototipo di veicolo ibrido solare sarà presentato alla mostra EnergyMed, in programma presso la Mostra di Oltremare a Napoli dall'8 al 10 marzo 2007 (Padiglione 4, Stand 3). Sabato 10 marzo è previsto un intervento del coordinatore del progetto, prof. Gianfranco Rizzo, sul tema "Verso una mobilità sostenibile: veicoli ibridi solari e telematica" nell'ambito del Convegno LA QUALITÀ DELL'ARIA E LE EMISSIONI VEICOLARI, a cura della Provincia di Napoli, presso la Sala Libia (9.30-13.00).

UN PROGETTO PER LA MOBILITA' SOSTENIBILE
Il Progetto Leonardo "Energy Conversion Systems and Their Environmental Impact" ha l'obiettivo di promuovere la conoscenza sui temi energetici, economici ed ambientali connessi al trasporto automobilistico ed alle energie rinnovabili attraverso la partecipazione allo sviluppo di un prototipo di veicolo ibrido solare. La diffusione di questi veicoli potrebbe dare concreti ed importanti contributi alla riduzione di consumi di combustibile e di emissioni di gas serra. Il progetto, promosso dall'Istituto Alfano I di Salerno e coordinato dal DIMEC dell'Università di Salerno, coinvolge un partenariato costituito da università, istituti di ricerca e formazione e imprese di Italia, Francia, Ungheria, Romania e Turchia, con il contributo di Automobile Club Salerno, Lombardini e Saggese.
