In The Spotlight:
AKA Showcase Theatre
The Americana Music Hall was built for the 1978 season, and offered the first climate controlled, indoor venue in the park. Six Flags had established one of the staple of the theme park industry, the "Broadway-style" musical revue, and the Americana Music Hall was a venue designed for these elaborate productions. Throughout the years the theater has been home to an array of shows of all kinds.
