Biggest Show ever: ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam/JEZ-Award presented
ISSA/Interclean Amsterdam 2012 has proven to be essential event for the industry, by offering an even more international and diverse attendance than the previous edition. It was the biggest and best showing of the past 24 editions, increasing attendance to a record-breaking number.
Rob den Hertog, Manager ISSA/Interclean, states that the quality and quantity of visitors made for a vibrant, busy four days, leaving exhibitors with many positive business opportunities.
The numbers of the 2012 show: Visitors 28,001 (2010: 23,415) and exhibitors 669 (2010: 651)
ISSA/Interclean Amsterdam 2014 will be held from 6-9 May 2014 and celebrates its 25th anniversary.
JEZ-Award presented
The winners of the JEZ-Award, the class competition for ecology and sustainability "Young decision makers of the future" ("Junge Entscheidungsträger Zukunft" - JEZ) have been found: 9 students of the Andreas-Gordon-School (class GR 11a) in Erfurt/Germany have come with their teachers for three days to the ISSA/Interclean in Amsterdam. There, at booth 101 in hall 6, they received their JEZ-Award in a ceremony on 10 May.
The second prize, an iTunes-voucher of 15 Euro for each student of the class, goes to the class GR 10 a of the Andreas-Gordon-School in Erfurt/Germany. The 3rd and 4th prize, iTunes-voucher of 10 and 5 Euro for every pupils of the class, go to the classes 9/1 and 10/1 of the Oberstufenzentrum Cottbus/Germany and the classes 12 GR 1 and 11 GR of the Phillip-Holzmann-School, Frankfurt on the Main/Germany.
ISSA and the magazines REINIGUNGS MARKT and GEBÄUDEREINIGER, the German journal for contract cleaning trainees, were looking for the young decision makers of the future (Junge Entscheidungsträger Zukunft –JEZ) in 2012. The competition was also financially supported by the companies igefa, Kärcher, Solution Glöckner and Unger and promoted by Verein für Reinigungstechnik e. V.
