A Big Thank You from Charlie
Last Thursday our fearless, 4-year-old son, Charlie, climbed up one of
the poles at Tennis Wharf, lost his footing and fell on to the stairs
below, resulting in stitches and a hospital stay in the Sydney
Children's Hospital.
We received much help, love and support from the island community. We
are most grateful to all involved... especially to Robert for pulling
Charlie out of the water (Thank you 500 times!!), to Matt Palmer who
took care of our boat, and our neighbours John and Barbara for their
great support.
Charlie is well and strong, despite being banned from pole jumping! It
is taking a little bit longer for his parents to recover from the
ordeal.
We are still so glad we moved here.

Violin Lessons
Has your child outgrown their violin? I am looking for a
secondhand quarter-size violin.
I
would also like to share trips to Newport Primary for lessons before
school - probably Tuesdays and Thursdays, lessons starting 8:20.
Is there anyone else heading that way from the island?

Stray Kitten
I found a kitten under my house and I was wondering if you'd heard
anything about a lost kitten?
I think she's been lost for a while, she's quite thin and she has a
wound where her collar has been rubbing against her skin, exposing
flesh. Her collar was pink with a bell, but I threw it out because the
wound is septic.
