Market Summary

TSE All-Share Index

Tehran stocks closed mixed with the TSE All-Share Index edging up 0.09% to end the day at 79,692. Most sectors traded in a narrow range, with Sugar (+3.66%) the top performer and Textiles (-2.85%) leading fallers. Base Metals (+1.32%) remained the most traded sector with a volume of IRR 302 billion (approx. USD 8 million). Stocks with the greatest influence on the All-Share Index today were Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +2.53%), Khouzestan Steel Co. (FKHZ +3.95%) and Melli Development Investment Co. (BANK +4.24%). The most traded stock by value was Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +2.53%) with volume of IRR 181 billion (approx. USD 4.8 million). Total traded val­ue of the TSE reached IRR 2,286 billion (approx. USD 61 million), up 11% from the previ­ous training session.

 

TSE30 Index

The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization closed up 0.49% at 3,127. Melli Development Investment Co. (BANK +4.24%) was the biggest gainer, while Pardis Petrochemical Co. (PRDZ-1.43%) dropped the most. The top 30s total traded value reached IRR 453 billion (approx. USD 12 million), up 174% from the previous trading ses­sion.
