Next Wednesday there is no meeting at the clubrooms; instead, we are meeting in the great outdoors in an attempt to exercise both limb and lens! The venue for this evening is The Pill at Clevedon; we will meet in Old Church Rd where hopefully there will be enough on-street parking space for us all and will then proceed (at a slow amble) to the Pill. I've attached a map for those who aren't too sure where this is.
Important times:
Sunset: 8.06pm
Low Tide: 6.18pm
High Tide: 12.30am

I've been asked on at least 3 occasions in the last week if it is possible to get past editions of the newsletter. If you want to look at any previous issues, then all you need to do is follow the link which is always included at the end of the newsletter and is reproduced here - BPS Newsletter Archive

Don't forget, the clubrooms are closed from now until Tuesday 3 September for redecoration.
|
The 2013-2014 BPS Handbook is now available and will be distributed to members at regular Wednesday meetings over the next few weeks. For those too impatient to wait and who haven't yet received their copy, the programme is now on the BPS Website, please click here.

Derwood Pamphillon has been gaining a bit of success in foreign exhibitions, notably the 3rd Taichung International where he gained an acceptance, and the Welsh International Exhibition where he gained 3 acceptances including an HC. Hopefully I will be able to list more Welsh successes when they finally get round to putting the list of acceptances on the web!
If you want to blow your own trumpet or, dare I say such a thing, blow someone else's trumpet for them, then this is the place to do it. Please let me know and I'll include it in the next issue.
|
If you have something photographic that you want to sell, why not let me have details and I can circulate them to a captive audience of photographers through the Newsletter - send to the usual address.
