THE MIGHTY MANATEES PLAY WORLD CAFE THIS SUNDAY! - This Sunday, January 13th, we perform at the Higher Ground Benefit For Hurricane Sandy Relief at World Cafe Live, 3025 Walnut St., Philadelphia, PA. The show runs from 3:00pm to 9:00pm and features a number of local bands including Karmic Repair Co., Mike Greer & Co., Miles Thompson, and The Whiskeyhickon Boys.

This event is sponsored by WXPN 88.5 FM, The American Red Cross, and the Philadelphia Folk Song Society. There will be a drawing for a free pair of tickets to the 2013 Philadelphia Folk Festival. The Mighty Manatees will also have their own merchandise table where we'll be selling CDs to raise money for the benefit. Copies of "All Heaven Broke Loose", "'Tees In The Keys", "On A Night Like This", "Southpaw", "A Love Above" and others will be available as well as the new "Live At Landhaven". Free copies of the beautiful poster created for the show will be available while supplies last and a free Mighty Manatees decal with every sale!

RAY ADKINS PLAYS LANDHAVEN W/ RANGER SIDEMAN - And speaking of Landhaven, singer/songwriter and Manatees co-founder Ray Adkins will be playing a solo show at Landhaven on Saturday, Jan. 19th at 8:00pm. I will be accompanying him on bass, mandolin, harmonica, guitar and harmony vocals.
