THANKSGIVING EVE WITH SI SENORITA! - This Wednesday evening, November 22, I will be sitting in with one of our favorite sister bands, Si Senorita, as they play their annual Thanksgiving Eve show at The Rising Sun Inn in Telford, PA. It's true! I will be joining Mike Clemmer, Mike Garrity, and the rest of the gang for their first set from 9:00 - 10:00 PM. They will do two more sets after my set with them. Come early to assure a good seat because It's always a mob scene.
Many years ago, we used to let a young Mike Garrity and his musical friends sit in with our band from time to time. Mike claims that at one point we said to him, "Hey, you guys should start your own band!", and that's what they did and now their band has become an area favorite. C'mon out and hear them and our first set cross-pollination. Showtime is 9 - 1. Give thanks and praise!
THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING WITH FIONA! - This Friday, November 24, The Mighty Manatees will play a Post-Thanksgiving show at The Bridgeport Ribhouse in Bridgeport, PA. We will be joined by my 13 year old daughter Fiona who will be singing a few selections with our band in the first set. Fiona has been singing more with us these days and now we have almost a whole set with her. Showtime is 9:00 - 1:00 AM. You can still give thanks and praise!
MUSIC OPERA! - On Sunday, November 26, we will return to The Rising Sun Barn in Telford, PA, for the latest Mystic Vagabond Production. Entitled, "The Beautiful Vision Project Music Opera", it is an evening of words & music dealing with such themes as "New Beginnings", "Love Lost", "What's Going On", and "Moving Forward". This show features the talents of Randy Wagner, Josh Kanusky, John Devin, Leah Marie, Brett Andrew, Deb Callahan, Allen James, Fiona Hodgson, and myself. Doors open at 5:00. Show starts at 6 - 10. Special thanks to Slacker.
Please note; This will be our last show of the year at The Rising Sun Barn. We will return there on Tuesday, February 6 for our Bob Marley Birthday Tribute.
