Baja Insider Update

November 22, 2011

Dear BajaInsider Subscribers:

A Happy Thanksgiving to our U.S. Readers!

We have a special section again this issue, just for all the events taking place in the coming weeks in Baja. Some are for fun and some are for fun and charity. Check them out!

We see lots of folks returning to Baja for the winter now. We have a recent Road Report on the Baja Sur Loop as well as a current road report for the whole of Hwy 1 just weeks old. If you are driving south please send us your road report when you arrive safely. As always, we highly recommend not driving at night and procuring Mexican Insurance online from either of our sponsors, MexPro or Oscar Padilla. Or you can join the travel club Vagabundos del Mar and get insurance coverage and the benefits of the club too.

The Hurricane Season is suppose to end on November 30th but Major Hurricane Kenneth, the strongest late season hurricane in recorded history, is churning well south of Baja. Stay on top of our climate with our Weather Reports.

Whether you are into conservation, cruising or the history of Baja we have more than 1500 pages of information on our magnificent peninsula.

So, without further ado... here are the latest stories on the BajaInsider!
