Hello Firstname

Wednesday 14 August
Next Wednesday we have a recorded "lecture", it is the NEMPF (North & East Midlands Photographic Federation) annual exhibition. Nearly 2700 images (prints and projected) were entered and 298 prints and 211 projected images were accepted. We will see a selection of these this evening presented as an extremely professional AV compiled as usual by Jim Hartje with the now customary very professional commentary by Ashley Franklyn.

DI Group
The monthly meeting of the DI Group takes place on Monday evening (12 August) at 7.30. All are welcome and if you'd like to bring along some pictures (prints or projected) for discussion or just to show off, then that would be great. Don't forget that projected images should be jpegs and saved onto a memory stick.

Studio Group

Some members of the Studio Group and the models at the recent "Goths" studio session held at the clubrooms.

For those of you who are not too au fait with current fashions, the Goths are the three in the middle of the back row; the other four are what are referred to in the world of high fashion as "shabby chic".

Advanced Warning
This is advanced warning to members that the clubrooms will be closed for redecoration between Monday 26 August and Tuesday 3 September for essential maintenance and redecoration work.

If you miss the Reds on Friday, there is the chance to see the RAF Typhoon display team perform at 1pm on Saturday and again at 4pm on Sunday
