We can hardly believe that the holidays are already here, where did 2014 go? We have a ton of new chunky yarn and locally hand dyed goodness in the shop, ready to meet all your Winter crafting needs.

ReBelle will be closed for Thanksgiving, but we will be open Friday, November 29th at 10am.

We will also be closed December 24th and 25th for Christmas and on January 1st for New Year's.

New In The Shop
We're introducing Malabrigo Chunky to the shop!  It's a definite chunky weight with 100 yards per 100 gram skein and it knits up great on a size 10.5 to 11 needle.  We've got Malabrigo Chunky in 10 warm and cozy colors that will knit up into great hats, cowls, scarves and mitts for everyone on your Christmas list!  There are a ton of great patterns available for this yarn, some of the ones that stand out to us are:  Bella's Mittens, Bella's Hat, GAP-tastic Cowl, Luxe Neckwarmer, Robin's Egg Blue Hat and Boo Hat (for the kids).
The other new yarn we have in the shop is Cascade 128 Superwash.  It's a 100% superwash merino wool.  It's squishy soft and knits up nicely on a US size 10.  It will work with many of the same patterns as Malabrigo Chunky, but also would be great for Owls, Owlet, Chevron Baby Blanket, Baby and Toddler Tiered Coat or Foot Ovens.
There's some new hand dyed roving from Rock and String Creations out of Carlisle Kentucky. We've got some great 75% BFL/25% Silk blends and some 70% alpaca/30% merino pencil roving as well as a bit of plain BFL, falkland, organic polwarth and BFL with 15% nylon.
There's nine new colors of Sarah-Dyed Bulky yarn.  It's 100% superwash merino with 112 yards per 112 gram skein.  It works up great on a US size 11-13 and would be great for some quick knit projects that you can give to folks that may not be diligent about washing their handknits by hand.  It will work for all the same patterns as the Malabrigo Chunky!
Jan Durham has been dyeing up some more yarn, this time with all natural dyes!  The yarn is 70% Kentucky wool and 30% merino, with 250 yards per 100 gram skein. She's used cochineal, madder rood, logwood and indigo to produce these four gorgeous colors.
Silk Scarves
We've also got a few of these great scarves dyed by Jan Durham.  She uses leaves, flowers and natural dyes to print and dye these terrific scarves that really have to be seen in person to be appreciated.
Soap
A whole new batch of soap scents are here. There's wonderful seasonal scents like gingerbread, cinnamon clove, vanilla cinnamon, orange spice, vanilla mint and peppermint as well as some year-round favorites, jasmine, lavender and lemon. They vary as to their added ingredients (goat's milk, honey, poppy seeds, oatmeal and sea salt are all represented), but they are all terrificly moisturizing which is especially essential for the Winter months. And for those who have been naughty this year, don't forget to stuff their stocking with some Lump of Coal soap!

Yarn of the Month
Burly Spun
Looking for a quick knit? Brown Sheep's Burly Spun is the Yarn of the Month for December, it will be 20% off all month long. Burly Spun is 100% wool yarn with 132 yards per giant 8 ounce skein and it knits up quickly on a US size 13-17 needle.  For our Outlander fans, the Outlander Cowl inspired by the show would be perfect in this yarn.
